Tom's involvement in photography covers 20 years of photographic art, commercial and commissions. Tom continues to further his education with workshops, classes and lectures. His work is influenced by Edward Weston, Richard Avedon, Francesca Woodman, Diane Arbus and Ralph Eugene Meatyard. Tom maintains complete control of his finished product by performing all of his own processing, whether silver gelatin darkroom prints or archival giclees. Tom is a juried member of The Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen, University of Kentucky Art Museum, The Kentucky Professional Photographers Association, Lexington Art League, a member of the August Art Guild, and the Ohio River Valley Artists Guild. Tom's works are displayed inn galleries and collections throughout the world.

Jack's pursuit as an artist came to life in his classes at the Powder Factory Studio in the old Peters Cartridge Factory in Kings Mills, Ohio. He found the richness of color and tone in pastels to be the medium he enjoyed the most. "Few artists wouldn't find pleasure when opening a new box of pastels and discovering the fresh vibrant colors, just waiting to be spread across the paper." Jack has studied under Don and Joyce Nagel at the Hilton Head Art Academy for the past three years and most recently attended a workshop under Vivian Ripley. Jack has exhibited at Hilton Head Art League and the Augusta Art Guild. Jack is a member of the Augusta Art Guild.

Ken's work cover various mediums: acrylic, oil, pencil, charcoal. For this exhibit Ken's work will be regional plein air pieces in oil. These works of art are created on location. Ken's enthusiasm for outdoor hiking and cycling treks take him to locations he captures in his paintings. "Northern Kentucky is blessed with a beautiful landscape. We should take time to enjoy our surroundings." Ken has participated in Art in the Garden, Fresh Art at the Behringer-Crawford Museum, Covington, KY, Hyde Park Square Art Show, Cincinnati, and the Bluegrass Biennial, Morehead State University. Ken is the artist in residence at the Baker-Bird Winery in Augusta.

Hours: Tue/Thur./Fri. 10 to 4 and when we are home (upstairs). We offer 8 week courses in watercolor, oil, pastel and clay.
