Kathy Macht

Kathy Macht, part owner of the gallery, is an exhibiting pastel artist. Kathleen's art expresses her spirit whether it is a vibrant sunset or dancing shadows on ordinary items.

Artist Statement:

Art for me is the journey into self. What emerges when I explore with pastels is Inner Light. I receive inspiration through my senses whether immersing myself in the exploration of the desert hills of the southwest, the rolling countryside of the Ohio River Valley or watching the vivid illumination of a sunset. My work is of unobtrusive but distinctive vibrancy. Perhaps the greatest joy for me is using the softness of pastels to raise reality to the dream state.
